STS-SS-204 uses either a safety gateswitch or a safety light curtain, but not both.
Remote Access Pods must be used with a Remote Access Controller. This feature can only be used in applications requiring multiple access points controlling the same hazardous area, such as an oven conveyor. Applications requiring the control of separate hazardous areas from different locations must use standard Safe-T-Stations.
The remote access feature reduces cost by placing all control reliable safety features in one control station while providing remote access to any number of access points within the same application. All access pods function in series and provide connection points for the safeguarding devices in use. | |||||||
